Psalm 105:1-22 – World English Bible
Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name!
Make his doings known among the peoples.
2 Sing to him, sing praises to him!
Tell of all his marvelous works. 3 Glory in his holy name.
Let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice. 4 Seek Yahweh and his strength.
Seek his face forever more. 5 Remember his marvelous works that he has done;
his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth, 6 you offspring[a] of Abraham, his servant,
you children of Jacob, his chosen ones. 7 He is Yahweh, our God.
His judgments are in all the earth. 8 He has remembered his covenant forever,
the word which he commanded to a thousand generations, 9 the covenant which he made with Abraham,
his oath to Isaac, 10 and confirmed the same to Jacob for a statute;
to Israel for an everlasting covenant, 11 saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan,
the lot of your inheritance”; 12 when they were but a few men in number,
yes, very few, and foreigners in it. 13 They went about from nation to nation,
from one kingdom to another people. 14 He allowed no one to do them wrong.
Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes, 15 “Don’t touch my anointed ones!
Do my prophets no harm!” 16 He called for a famine on the land.
He destroyed the food supplies. 17 He sent a man before them.
Joseph was sold for a slave. 18 They bruised his feet with shackles.
His neck was locked in irons, 19 until the time that his word happened,
and Yahweh’s word proved him true. 20 The king sent and freed him;
even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free. 21 He made him lord of his house,
and ruler of all of his possessions; 22 to discipline his princes at his pleasure,
and to teach his elders wisdom.

Israel
also came into Egypt.
Jacob lived in the land of Ham.
24 He increased his people greatly,
and made them stronger than their adversaries. 25 He turned their heart to hate his people,
to conspire against his servants. 26 He sent Moses, his servant,
and Aaron, whom he had chosen. 27 They performed miracles among them,
and wonders in the land of Ham. 28 He sent darkness, and made it dark.
They didn’t rebel against his words. 29 He turned their waters into blood,
and killed their fish. 30 Their land swarmed with frogs,
even in the rooms of their kings. 31 He spoke, and swarms of flies came,
and lice in all their borders. 32 He gave them hail for rain,
with lightning in their land. 33 He struck their vines and also their fig trees,
and shattered the trees of their country. 34 He spoke, and the locusts came,
and the grasshoppers, without number, 35 ate up every plant in their land;
and ate up the fruit of their ground. 36 He struck also all the firstborn in their land,
the first fruits of all their manhood. 37 He brought them out with silver and gold.
There was not one feeble person among his tribes. 38 Egypt was glad when they departed,
for the fear of them had fallen on them. 39 He spread a cloud for a covering,
fire to give light in the night. 40 They asked, and he brought quails,
and satisfied them with the bread of the sky. 41 He opened the rock, and waters gushed out.
They ran as a river in the dry places. 42 For he remembered his holy word,
and Abraham, his servant. 43 He brought his people out with joy,
his chosen with singing. 44 He gave them the lands of the nations.
They took the labor of the peoples in possession, 45 that they might keep his statutes,
and observe his laws.

Genesis 32:3-31
Jacob sent messengers in front of him to Esau, his brother, to the land of Seir, the field of Edom. 4 He commanded them, saying, “This is what you shall tell my lord, Esau: ‘This is what your servant, Jacob, says. I have lived as a foreigner with Laban, and stayed until now. 5 I have cattle, donkeys, flocks, male servants, and female servants. I have sent to tell my lord, that I may find favor in your sight.’” 6 The messengers returned to Jacob, saying, “We came to your brother Esau. Not only that, but he comes to meet you, and four hundred men with him.” 7 Then Jacob was greatly afraid and was distressed. He divided the people who were with him, and the flocks, and the herds, and the camels, into two companies; 8 and he said, “If Esau comes to the one company, and strikes it, then the company which is left will escape.” 9 Jacob said, “God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, Yahweh, who said to me, ‘Return to your country, and to your relatives, and I will do you good,’ 10 I am not worthy of the least of all the loving kindnesses, and of all the truth, which you have shown to your servant; for with just my staff I crossed over this Jordan; and now I have become two companies. 11 Please deliver me from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau: for I fear him, lest he come and strike me, and the mothers with the children. 12 You said, ‘I will surely do you good, and make your offspring[a] as the sand of the sea, which can’t be numbered because there are so many.’”
13 He stayed there that night, and took from that which he had with him, a present for Esau, his brother: 14 two hundred female goats and twenty male goats, two hundred ewes and twenty rams, 15 thirty milk camels and their colts, forty cows, ten bulls, twenty female donkeys and ten foals. 16 He delivered them into the hands of his servants, every herd by itself, and said to his servants, “Pass over before me, and put a space between herd and herd.” 17 He commanded the foremost, saying, “When Esau, my brother, meets you, and asks you, saying, ‘Whose are you? Where are you going? Whose are these before you?’ 18 Then you shall say, ‘They are your servant, Jacob’s. It is a present sent to my lord, Esau. Behold, he also is behind us.’” 19 He commanded also the second, and the third, and all that followed the herds, saying, “This is how you shall speak to Esau, when you find him. 20 You shall say, ‘Not only that, but behold, your servant, Jacob, is behind us.’” For, he said, “I will appease him with the present that goes before me, and afterward I will see his face. Perhaps he will accept me.”
21 So the present passed over before him, and he himself stayed that night in the camp.
22 He rose up that night, and took his two wives, and his two servants, and his eleven sons, and crossed over the ford of the Jabbok. 23 He took them, and sent them over the stream, and sent over that which he had. 24 Jacob was left alone, and wrestled with a man there until the breaking of the day. 25 When he saw that he didn’t prevail against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh, and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was strained, as he wrestled. 26 The man said, “Let me go, for the day breaks.”
Jacob said, “I won’t let you go, unless you bless me.”
27 He said to him, “What is your name?”
He said, “Jacob”. 28 He said, “Your name will no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have fought with God and with men, and have prevailed.”
29 Jacob asked him, “Please tell me your name.”
He said, “Why is it that you ask what my name is?” He blessed him there.
30 Jacob called the name of the place Peniel[b]: for, he said, “I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” 31 The sun rose on him as he passed over Peniel, and he limped because of his thigh.

Little children, these are the end times, and as you heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen. By this we know that it is the final hour. 19 They went out from us, but they didn’t belong to us; for if they had belonged to us, they would have continued with us. But they left, that they might be revealed that none of them belong to us. 20 You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge. [a] 21 I have not written to you because you don’t know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth. 22 Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the Antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.
23 Whoever denies the Son, the same doesn’t have the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also.
24 Therefore, as for you, let that remain in you which you heard from the beginning. If that which you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son, and in the Father. 25 This is the promise which he promised us, the eternal life. 26 These things I have written to you concerning those who would lead you astray. 27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him. 28 Now, little children, remain in him, that when he appears, we may have boldness, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. 29 If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of him.

Антихристы последних дней
18 Дети, это время – последнее. Вы слышали, что должен прийти антихрист[a], и сейчас появилось много антихристов, из чего мы узнаем, что время – последнее.19 Эти антихристы вышли из нашей среды, хоть они никогда к нам не принадлежали. Если бы они действительно принадлежали к нам, то остались бы с нами. То, что они от нас вышли, показывает, что они и не принадлежали к нам.
20 Вы получили помазание[b] от Святого[c], и у всех вас есть знание. 21 Я пишу вам не потому, что вы не знаете истины, а наоборот, потому, что вы знаете ее и то, что из нее не может произойти никакой лжи. 22 Кто такой лжец? Лжец – тот, кто отвергает, что Иисус – Христос[d]. Такой человек – антихрист, он отвергает и Отца, и Сына. 23 Тот, кто отвергает Сына, не имеет и Отца, а кто признает Сына, тот имеет и Отца.
24 Храните слышанное вами от начала. Если то, что вы слышали от начала, будет постоянно в вас, то и вы сами будете в Сыне и в Отце. 25 Его обещание, которое Он дал нам, – вечная жизнь.
26 Это я пишу вам относительно тех, кто пытается вас обмануть. 27 Помазание, которое вы получили от Него, постоянно в вас, и поэтому вам не нужно, чтобы кто-либо учил вас. 22 It was the Feast of the Dedication[b] at Jerusalem. 23 It was winter, and Jesus was walking in the temple, in Solomon’s porch. 24 The Jews therefore came around him and said to him, “How long will you hold us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.”
25 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you don’t believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name, these testify about me. 26 But you don’t believe, because you are not of my sheep, as I told you. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”
