Psalm 50 – Jubilee Bible 2000

A Psalm to Asaph.

The God of gods, even the LORD, has spoken and convocated the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

² Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shined forth.

³ Our God shall come and shall not keep silence; a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

⁴ He shall convocate the heavens of above, and the earth, that he may judge his people.

⁵ Gather my merciful ones together unto me, those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

⁶ And the heavens shall declare his righteousness, for God himself is the judge. Selah.

⁷  Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee; I am God, even thy God.

⁸ I will not reprove thee regarding thy sacrifices; thy burnt offerings are continually before me.

⁹ I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.

¹⁰ For every beast of the forest is mine and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

¹¹ I know all the fowls of the mountains; and the wild beasts of the field are with me.

¹² If I were hungry, I would not tell thee; for the world is mine and the fullness thereof.

¹³ Must I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats?

¹⁴ Sacrifice praise unto God and pay thy vows unto the most High

¹⁵ and call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

¹⁶  But unto the wicked God saith, What part hast thou to declare my statutes or that thou should take my covenant in thy mouth?

¹⁷ Seeing thou dost hate chastening and dost cast my words behind thee.

¹⁸ When thou didst see a thief, then thou didst consent with him and hast been partaker with adulterers.

¹⁹ Thou didst give thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frames deceit.

²⁰ Thou didst sit and speak against thy brother; thou didst slander thine own mother’s son.

²¹ These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou didst think that I was altogether such a one as thyself, but I will reprove thee and set them in order before thine eyes.

²² Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I take you away, and there be none to deliver.

²³ Whosoever sacrifices praise glorifies me; and to him that orders his ways aright I will show the salvation of God.

² (49-2) С Сиона, который есть верх красоты, является Бог,

³ (49-3) грядет Бог наш, и не в безмолвии: пред Ним огонь поядающий, и вокруг Его сильная буря.

⁴ (49-4) Он призывает свыше небо и землю, судить народ Свой:

⁵ (49-5) 'соберите ко Мне святых Моих, вступивших в завет со Мною при жертве'.

⁶ (49-6) И небеса провозгласят правду Его, ибо судия сей есть Бог.

⁷ (49-7) 'Слушай, народ Мой, Я буду говорить; Израиль! Я буду свидетельствовать против тебя: Я Бог, твой Бог.

⁸ (49-8) Не за жертвы твои Я буду укорять тебя; всесожжения твои всегда предо Мною;

⁹ (49-9) не приму тельца из дома твоего, ни козлов из дворов твоих,

¹⁰ (49-10) ибо Мои все звери в лесу, и скот на тысяче гор,

¹¹ (49-11) знаю всех птиц на горах, и животные на полях предо Мною.

¹² (49-12) Если бы Я взалкал, то не сказал бы тебе, ибо Моя вселенная и все, что наполняет ее.

¹³ (49-13) Ем ли Я мясо волов и пью ли кровь козлов?

¹⁴ (49-14) Принеси в жертву Богу хвалу и воздай Всевышнему обеты твои,

¹⁵ (49-15) и призови Меня в день скорби; Я избавлю тебя, и ты прославишь Меня'.

¹⁶ (49-16) Грешнику же говорит Бог: 'что ты проповедуешь уставы Мои и берешь завет Мой в уста твои,

¹⁷ (49-17) а сам ненавидишь наставление Мое и слова Мои бросаешь за себя?

¹⁸ (49-18) когда видишь вора, сходишься с ним, и с прелюбодеями сообщаешься;

¹⁹ (49-19) уста твои открываешь на злословие, и язык твой сплетает коварство;

²⁰ (49-20) сидишь и говоришь на брата твоего, на сына матери твоей клевещешь;

²¹ (49-21) ты это делал, и Я молчал; ты подумал, что Я такой же, как ты. Изобличу тебя и представлю пред глаза твои [грехи твои].

²² (49-22) Уразумейте это, забывающие Бога, дабы Я не восхитил, --и не будет избавляющего.

²³ (49-23) Кто приносит в жертву хвалу, тот чтит Меня, и кто наблюдает за путем своим, тому явлю Я спасение Божие'.

Psalms 59-60 – Jubilee Bible 2000

To the Overcomer upon, Do not destroy, Michtam of David; when Saul sent, and they watched the house to kill him.

Deliver me from my enemies, O my God; defend me from those that rise up against me.

² Deliver me from the workers of iniquity and save me from bloodthirsty men.

³ For, behold, they lie in wait for my soul; the strong are gathered against me; I am not in rebellion, nor in sin, O LORD.

⁴ They run and prepare themselves when I have committed no iniquity; awake to help me and behold.

⁵ Thou, therefore, O LORD God of the hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the Gentiles; be not merciful to any rebellious workers of iniquity. Selah.

⁶ They will return at evening; they will bark like dogs and go round about outside the city.

⁷ Behold, they belch out with their mouth; swords are in their lips; for who, say they, doth hear?

⁸  But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the Gentiles in derision.

⁹ I will reserve his strength unto thee, for God is my defence.

¹⁰ The God of my mercy shall meet me on the way; God shall let me see my desire upon my enemies.

¹¹ Slay them not lest my people forget; scatter them by thy power and bring them down, O Lord our shield.

¹² For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips, let them even be taken in their pride; they shall be subject to weakness and to a curse.

¹³ Consume them in wrath, consume them that they may not be and let them know that God rules in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.

¹⁴ And at evening let them return and let them bark like dogs and go round about outside the city.

¹⁵ Let them wander up and down for food and murmur if they are not satisfied.

¹⁶ But I will sing of thy power; I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning, for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.

¹⁷ Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing, for God is my defence and the God of my mercy.

To the Overcomer upon Shushaneduth, Michtam of David, to teach; when he strove with Aramnaharaim and with Aramzobah, when Joab returned and smote of Edom in the valley of salt twelve thousand.

60  O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us; thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.

² Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it; heal its breaches, for it shakes.

³ Thou hast showed thy people hard things; thou hast made us to drink the wine of shaking.

⁴ Thou hast given a banner to those that fear thee that they raise up for the truth. Selah.

⁵ That thy beloved may be delivered, save with thy right hand and hear me.

⁶ God has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem and mete out the valley of Succoth.

⁷ Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of my head; Judah is my lawgiver;

⁸ Moab is my washpot; over Edom I will cast out my shoe; Philistia, triumph thou because of me.

⁹ Who will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me into Edom?

¹⁰ Surely thou, O God, who had cast us off; and thou, O God, who did not go out with our armies.

¹¹ Give us help from trouble, for vain is the salvation of man.

¹² Through God we shall do valiantly, for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

Psalm 19 – Jubilee Bible 2000

To the Overcomer, A Psalm of David.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows the work of his hands.

² One day provides a word for the next day, and one night declares wisdom unto the next night.

³ There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

⁴ Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tabernacle for the sun,

⁵ which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber and rejoices as a strong man to run a race.

⁶ His going forth is from the end of the heavens, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

⁷ The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

⁸ The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

⁹ The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever; the rights of the LORD are true, they are all just.

¹⁰ More to be desired are they than gold, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

¹¹ Moreover by them is thy slave warned, and in keeping them there is great reward.

¹² Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

¹³ Keep back thy slave also from pride and arrogance; let them not have dominion over me; then I shall be perfect, and I shall be innocent of the great rebellion.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in tribulation.

² Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea,

³ though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the violence thereof. Selah.

⁴ There is a river, the streams of which shall make glad the city of God, the sanctuary of the tents of the most High.

⁵ God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God shall help her, as the morning dawns.

⁶ The Gentiles raged, the kingdoms were moved; he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

⁷ The LORD of the hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

⁸ Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he has made in the earth.

⁹ He makes wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and cuts the spear in sunder; he burns the chariot in the fire.

Genesis 39:1-23 – Jubilee Bible 2000

And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him from the hands of the Ishmeelites, who had brought him down there.

² But the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prospered man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.

³ And his master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.

⁴ So Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him; and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.

⁵ And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house and in the field.

⁶ And he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand, and with him knew of nothing more than of the bread which he ate. And Joseph was handsome and well favoured.

⁷ And it came to pass after these things, that his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.

⁸ But he refused and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master does not know what is with me in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my hand;

⁹ there is none greater in this house than I; neither has he kept back anything from me but thee because thou art his wife; how then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?

¹⁰ And it came to pass as she spoke to Joseph day by day, that he did not hearken unto her, to lie by her or to be with her.

¹¹ And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business, and none of those of the house were there within.

¹² And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me; and he left his garment in her hand and fled and got outside.

¹³  And it came to pass when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand and had fled forth,

¹⁴ that she called unto those of her house and spoke unto them, saying, See, he has brought in a Hebrew unto us to mock us; he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice;

¹⁵ and it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me and fled and left.

¹⁶ And she laid up his garment by her until his lord came home.

¹⁷ And she spoke unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew slave, whom thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to dishonour me;

¹⁸ and when I lifted up my voice and cried, he left his garment with me and fled out.

¹⁹  And it came to pass when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spoke unto him, saying, After this manner did thy slave treat me, that his wrath was kindled.

²⁰ And Joseph’s master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were bound; and he was there in the prison.

²¹ But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy and gave him grace in the sight of the prince of the house of the prison.

²² And the prince of the house of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatever they did there, he was the doer of it.

²³ The prince of the prison looked not to anything that was under his hand because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper.

¹¹ Однажды он вошел в дом по своим делам, когда никого из домашних не было в доме. ¹² Она схватила его за одежду и сказала:

– Ложись со мной!

Но он вырвался и убежал, оставив верхнюю одежду у нее в руках. ¹³ Увидев, что он убежал и оставил одежду у нее в руках, ¹⁴ она позвала домашнюю прислугу и сказала им:

– Смотрите, этого еврея привели к нам в дом, а он оскорбляет нас! Он пришел сюда и хотел лечь со мной, но я стала кричать, ¹⁵ а он от моего крика оставил свою одежду и убежал.

¹⁶ Она держала одежду Иосифа у себя, пока не пришел домой его хозяин. ¹⁷ Она рассказала ему ту же историю:

– Этот раб-еврей, которого ты к нам привел, пришел ко мне и хотел надо мной надругаться, ¹⁸ но я стала кричать, и он, оставив у меня свою одежду, убежал.

1 Corinthians 2:14-3:15 – Jubilee Bible 2000

 But the natural man does not perceive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

¹⁵ But he that is spiritual discerns all things, yet he is discerned by no one.

¹⁶ For who has known the understanding of the Lord? Who has instructed him? But we have the understanding of Christ.

3  And I, brothers, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

² I have fed you with milk, and not with solid food, for until now ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

³ For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying and strife and divisions, are ye not carnal and walk as men?

⁴ For while one says, I am of Paul, and another, I am of Apollos, are ye not carnal?

⁵  Who then is Paul? and who is Apollos? but servants by whom ye believed, each one according to that which the Lord gave.

⁶ I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.

⁷ So then neither is he that plants anything, neither he that waters, but God that gives the increase.

⁸ Now he that plants and he that waters are one although each one shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

⁹ For we are labourers together with God; ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

¹⁰ According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds upon it. But let each one see how the building is built.

¹¹  For no one can lay another foundation than that laid, which is Jesus the Christ.

¹² Now if anyone builds upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble,

¹³ the work of each one shall be made manifest, for the day shall declare it because it shall be revealed by fire; the work of each one, whatever sort it is, the fire shall put it to test.

¹⁴ If the work of anyone abides which he has built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

¹⁵ If anyone’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss, but he himself shall be saved, yet so as by fire.

Недуховный человек не принимает того, что приходит от Духа Божьего. Он считает это глупостью и не может понять, потому что об этом можно судить только духовно. ¹⁵ Духовный же человек может судить обо всем, тогда как о нем никакой человек судить не может, ¹⁶ потому что

«кто постиг разум Господа,

    чтобы советовать Ему?»^[a]

Мы же имеем разум Христов.

О разделении в церкви

3 Так вот, братья, я не мог говорить с вами как с людьми духовными, но говорил вам как людям, находящимся под властью старой греховной природы^[b], как младенцам в Христе. ² Я кормил вас молоком, а не твердой пищей, потому что вы еще не были способны принимать ее, да и теперь еще не способны, ³ ведь вы по-прежнему находитесь под властью старой греховной природы. Пока среди вас существуют зависть и споры, вы остаетесь прежними людьми и ведете себя так, как люди этого мира. ⁴ Ну чем вы отличаетесь от других, когда говорите: «Я – сторонник Павла» или: «Я – Аполлоса»? ⁵ Ведь кто такой Аполлос? И кто такой Павел? Мы лишь служители, благодаря которым вы поверили в Христа. Каждый из нас сделал то дело, которое ему поручил Господь. ⁶ Я сажал, Аполлос поливал, а выращивал Бог. ⁷ Поэтому ничего не значит ни тот, кто сажает, ни тот, кто поливает, а лишь Бог, Который выращивает. ⁸ Тот, кто сажает, и тот, кто поливает, имеют одну цель, и каждый получит награду за свой труд. ⁹ Ведь мы сотрудники у Бога, а вы – Его поле, Его строение.

¹⁰ По благодати, данной мне Богом, я, как мудрый строитель, заложил основание, а продолжает строительство кто-то другой. Но каждый должен смотреть внимательно, как он строит. ¹¹ Никто не может заложить другой фундамент, кроме того, который уже заложен, и этот фундамент – Иисус Христос. ¹² На этом фундаменте человек может строить из золота, серебра, из драгоценных камней, из дерева, из сена или соломы, ¹³ но наступит День, когда выявится, кто как строил. В тот День все будет испытано огнем, и огонь покажет качество работы каждого. ¹⁴ Если постройка устоит, то строивший получит свою награду; ¹⁵ если же сгорит, то он понесет убыток. Сам он, однако, будет спасен, но спасен как бы из огня.

And again he entered into Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that he was in the house.

² And soon many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door; and he preached the word unto them.

³ And they came unto him, bringing a paralytic, carried by four men.

⁴ And when they could not come near unto him for the crowd, they uncovered the roof of the house where he was; and when they had broken it open, they let down the bed in which the paralytic lay.

⁵ When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the paralytic, Son, thy sins are forgiven thee.

⁶ But there were certain of the scribes sitting there and thinking in their hearts,

⁷ Why does this fellow so blaspheme? Who can forgive sins but God only?

⁸ And Jesus, knowing afterward in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, said unto them, Why think ye these things in your hearts?

⁹ What is easier to say to the paralytic, Thy sins are forgiven thee, or to say, Arise and take up thy bed and walk?

¹⁰ But that ye may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins (he spoke to the sick of the palsy),

¹¹ I say unto thee, Arise and take up thy bed and go to thy house.

¹² And by and by he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, We never saw anything like unto this.

Иисус исцеляет парализованного и прощает его грехи

Через несколько дней Иисус снова пришел в Капернаум, и в городе стало известно, что Он дома. ² К Нему собралось столько людей, что не было места даже в дверях. Когда Иисус возвещал слово, ³ четверо мужчин принесли к Нему парализованного.  

⁴ Видя, что из-за толпы к Иисусу им не подойти, они поднялись на крышу, разобрали ее и спустили сверху циновку, на которой лежал больной. ⁵ Иисус, увидев их веру, сказал парализованному:

– Сынок, прощаются тебе твои грехи!

⁶ Некоторые из учителей Закона, которые сидели там, подумали про себя: ⁷ «Что Он такое говорит? Это кощунство! Кто, кроме Бога, может прощать грехи?»

⁸ Иисус тотчас узнал духом Своим, о чем они думают.

– Что у вас за мысли такие? – спросил Он. ⁹ – Что легче, сказать парализованному: «Прощаются тебе грехи» или сказать ему: «Встань, возьми циновку и ходи»? ¹⁰ Но чтобы вы знали, что Сын Человеческий имеет власть прощать грехи на земле...
И тут Он обратился к парализованному:

¹¹ – Говорю тебе: встань, возьми свою циновку и иди домой!

¹² Больной тут же, на глазах у всех, встал, взял циновку и вышел. Это очень изумило всех, и люди славили Бога, говоря:
– Такого мы никогда еще не видели!
