Psalm 95 -- Jubilee Bible 2000

O come, let us bring joy unto the LORD; let us sing with joy unto the rock of our saving health.

² Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving and sing unto him with joy.

³ For the LORD is a great God and a great King above all gods.

⁴ In his hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also.

⁵ The sea is his, and he made it; and his hands formed the dry land.

⁶ O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

⁷ ¶ For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand. Today if ye will hear his voice,

⁸ harden not your heart, as in the provocation and as in the day of trials in the wilderness

⁹ When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

¹⁰ Forty years long I was grieved with this generation and said, It is a people that err from the heart, who have not known my ways;

¹¹ unto whom I swore in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

To the Overcomer, A Psalm of David.

In thee, O LORD, have I waited; let me never be ashamed; deliver me in thy righteousness.

² Incline thine ear unto me; deliver me speedily; be thou my strong rock, for a house of defence to save me.

³ For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake thou shalt lead me and guide me.

⁴ Thou shalt pull me out of the net that they have laid in secret for me; for thou art my strength.

⁵ Into thy hand shall I commit my spirit; thou shalt ransom me, O LORD God of truth.

⁶ I have hated those that regard lying vanities; but I wait in the LORD.

⁷ I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy, for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities

⁸ and hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; thou hast set my feet in a wide place.

⁹ ¶ Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: my eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.

¹⁰ For my life is spent with grief and my years with sighing: my strength fails because of my iniquity, and my bones are consumed.

¹¹ I was a reproach among all my enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to my acquaintances: those that see me without flee from me.

¹² I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I have become like a lost vessel.

¹³ For I have heard the slander of many; fear was on every side; while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.

¹⁴ But I trusted in thee, O LORD; I said, Thou art my God.

¹⁵ My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of my enemies and from those that persecute me.

¹⁶ Make thy face to shine upon thy slave; save me for thy mercies’ sake.

¹⁷ Let me not be ashamed, O LORD, for I have called upon thee; let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be cut off for Sheol.

¹⁸ Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.

¹⁹ Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for those that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for those that wait in thee before the sons of men!

²⁰ Thou shalt keep them in the secret place of thy face from the pride of man; thou shalt keep them in the tabernacle protected from the strife of tongues.

²¹ Blessed be the LORD, for he has shown me his marvellous mercy in a strong city.

²² For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes; nevertheless thou hast heard the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.

²³ O love the LORD, all ye his merciful ones, for the LORD preserves the faithful and plentifully rewards the proud doer.

²⁴ Be of good courage and strengthen your hearts, all ye that wait in the LORD.

⁴ (30-5) Выведи меня из сети, которую тайно поставили мне, ибо Ты крепость моя.

A Psalm of David.

35 ¶ Plead my cause, O LORD, with those that strive with me; fight against those that fight against me.

² Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up in my help.

³ Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against those that persecute me; say unto my soul; I am thy saving health.

⁴ Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul; let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.

⁵ Let them be as chaff before the wind, and let the angel of the LORD chase them.

⁶ Let their way be dark and slippery, and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.

⁷ For without cause they have hid their net for me in a pit, which without cause they have dug for my soul.

⁸ Let destruction come upon him at unawares, and let his net that he has hid catch himself; into that very destruction let him fall.

⁹ And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD; it shall rejoice in his saving health.

¹⁰ All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto thee, who delivers the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoils him?

¹¹ ¶ False witnesses rose up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.

¹² They rewarded me evil for good until my soul was alone.

¹³ But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth; I humbled my soul with fasting, and my prayer rose up in my bosom.

¹⁴ I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother; I bowed down heavily, as one that mourns for his mother.

¹⁵ But in my adversity they rejoiced and gathered themselves together; yea, the smiters gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they tore me apart and did not cease:

¹⁶ With immature hypocritical mockers, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.

¹⁷ ¶ Lord, how long wilt thou look on? Restore my soul from their destructions, my life from the lions.

¹⁸ I will give thee thanks in the great congregation; I will praise thee among many people.

¹⁹ Let not those that are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; neither let those that hate me wink with the eye without a cause.

²⁰ For they do not speak peace, but they devise deceitful matters against those that are meek in the land.

²¹ Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me and said, Aha, aha, our eye has seen it.

²² This thou hast seen, O LORD; do not keep silence; O Lord, do not be far from me.

²³ Stir up thyself and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.

²⁴ Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.

²⁵ Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it; let them not say, We have swallowed him up.

²⁶ Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at my hurt; let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me.

²⁷ Let them shout for joy and be glad that favour my righteous cause; let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, who has pleasure in the peace of his slave.

²⁸ And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.

⁴ (34-4) Да постыдятся и посрамятся ищущие души моей; да обратятся назад и покроются бесчестием умышляющие мне зло;

¹⁸ (34-18) Я прославлю Тебя в собрании великом, среди народа многочисленного восхвалю Тебя,

Ezekiel 18:1-4, 25-32 -- Jubilee Bible 2000

The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,

² What mean ye, that ye use this saying concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes and the children’s teeth are set on edge?

³ As I live, said the Lord GOD, ye shall never again have reason to use this saying in Israel.

⁴ Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine; the soul that sins, it shall die.

⁵ But if a man is just and does judgment and righteousness,

⁶ that he does not eat upon the mountains, neither lift up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither defile his neighbour’s wife, neither come near to the menstruous woman,

⁷ neither oppress any, but restores to the debtor his pledge, does not commit robbery, gives his bread to the hungry, and covers the naked with a garment,

⁸ neither lends at interest, neither takes any increase, withdraws his hand from iniquity, executes true judgment between man and man,

⁹ walks in my statutes, and keeps my rights, to do according to the truth: he is just; he shall surely live, said the Lord GOD.

¹⁰  If he begets a son that is a robber, a shedder of blood, and that does the like of any one of these things,

¹¹ and that does not do any of those duties, but, on the other hand, he does eat upon the mountains, or defiles his neighbour’s wife,

¹² oppresses the poor and needy, commits robbery, does not restore the pledge, or lifts up his eyes to the idols, or makes an abomination,

¹³ gives forth upon usury and takes increase, shall he then live? He shall not live; he has done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him.

¹⁴ But if he begets a son that sees all his father’s sins which he has done and seeing them, does not do according to them,

¹⁵ that he does not eat upon the mountains, neither lifts up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, nor defiles his neighbour’s wife,

¹⁶ neither oppresses any, nor withholds the pledge, neither commits robbery, but gives his bread to the hungry, and covers the naked with a garment,

¹⁷ takes off his hand from oppressing the poor, does not receive usury nor increase, acts according to my rights, and walks in my statutes; he shall not die for the iniquity of his father; he shall surely live.

¹⁸ As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, spoiled his brother by violence, and did that which is not good among his people, behold, even he shall die for his iniquity.

¹⁹ Yet if ye say, Why does not the son bear the iniquity of the father? Because the son has lived according to judgment and righteousness and has kept all my statutes and has done them, he shall surely live.

²⁰ The soul that sins, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him who is righteous, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him who is wicked.

²¹But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he has committed and keep all my statutes and live according to judgment and righteousness, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

²² All his rebellions that he has committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him; by his righteousness that he has done he shall live.

²³ Do I desire perchance the death of the wicked? said the Lord GOD, Shall he not live if he should leave his ways?

²⁴ But if the righteous should leave his righteousness and commit iniquity, and do according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All his righteousness that he has done shall not be mentioned; by his rebellion in which he has trespassed and by his sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die.

²⁵ And if ye say, The way of the Lord is not straight. Hear now, O house of Israel: Is my way not straight? Are not your ways crooked?

²⁶ When a righteous man leaves his righteousness, and commits iniquity, he shall die in it; for his iniquity that he has done he shall die.

²⁷ Again, when the wicked man leaves his wickedness that he has committed and lives according to judgment and righteousness, he shall cause his soul to live.

²⁸ Because he saw and left all his rebellions that he has committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die.

²⁹ If even now the house of Israel should say, The way of the Lord is not straight. O house of Israel, are not my ways straight? Certainly your ways are not straight.

³⁰Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, each one according to his ways, said the Lord GOD. Repent and turn yourselves from all your iniquities, so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

³¹ Cast away from you all your iniquities by which ye have rebelled, and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

³² For I do not desire the death of him that dies, said the Lord GOD; therefore turn yourselves, and ye shall live.

Было ко мне слово Господа:

² – Что вы имеете в виду, повторяя о земле Израиля поговорку:

«Отцы ели кислый виноград,
    а у детей на зубах оскомина»?

³ Верно, как и то, что Я живу, – возвещает Владыка Господь, – вы больше не будете произносить эту поговорку в земле Израиля. ⁴ Знайте, всякая жизнь принадлежит Мне: и отец, и сын – оба Мои. Кто согрешит, тот и умрет.

⁵ Если кто-то праведен
    и поступает справедливо и праведно:
⁶ не ест в горных святилищах,
    не поклоняется идолам дома Израиля,
не соблазняет жены другого
    и не спит с женщиной во время ее месячных,
⁷ никого не притесняет
    и возвращает должнику взятое у того в залог,
не грабит, дает свой хлеб голодным
    и одевает нагих,
⁸ не дает в рост денег
    и не взимает процентов,
удерживает руку от преступления
    и справедливо судит между спорящими,
⁹ следует Моим установлениям
    и усердно исполняет Мои законы –
тот праведен;
    он несомненно будет жить, –
        возвещает Владыка Господь.

¹⁰ Если у него есть сын, который разбойничает, проливает чужую кровь и делает что-либо из следующего ¹¹ (хотя его отец и не делал ничего подобного):

и если этот сын ест в горных святилищах,
    соблазняет жену другого,
¹² притесняет нуждающихся и бедняков,
    грабит,
не возвращает должнику взятое у того в залог,
    поклоняется идолам,
творит мерзости,
¹³     дает деньги в рост
и взимает проценты, –

будет ли он жить? Нет! За то, что он совершил эти мерзости, он, несомненно, умрет и сам будет повинен в своей смерти.

¹⁴ Но если у такого человека есть сын, который видит грехи, совершенные отцом, и видя, не поступает по его примеру:

¹⁵ не ест в горных святилищах,

не поклоняется идолам дома Израиля,
не соблазняет жены другого,
¹⁶ никого не притесняет,
не требует залога,
не грабит,
дает свой хлеб голодным
и одевает нагих,
¹⁷ удерживает руку от преступления^[a],
не дает денег в рост и не взимает процентов,
исполняет Мои законы и следует Моим установлениям, –

то он не умрет за грех отца; он несомненно будет жить. ¹⁸ А его отец умрет за свой грех, потому что он вымогал, грабил брата и творил зло среди своего народа.

¹⁹ А вы спрашиваете: «Почему же сын не причастен к вине отца?» Раз сын поступал справедливо и праведно, и прилежно исполнял Мои установления, он, несомненно, будет жить. ²⁰ Кто согрешил, тот и умрет. Сын не будет причастен к вине отца, и отец не будет причастен к вине сына. Праведность будет засчитана праведнику, и злодеяние будет засчитано злодею.

²¹ Но если злодей оставит грехи, которые творит, станет исполнять Мои установления и делать то, что справедливо и праведно, он несомненно будет жить; он не умрет.  

²² Ни одно из преступлений, которые он совершил, не припомнится ему. Ради сделанных им праведных дел он будет жить. ²³ Неужели Мне больше угодна смерть злодея, – возвещает Владыка Господь, – а не то, чтобы он оставил свои поступки и жил?

²⁴ Но если праведник оставит праведность, совершит преступление и начнет совершать те же мерзости, что и нечестивый, то разве он будет жить? Ни одно из сделанных им праведных дел не вспомнится. За вероломство, в котором он повинен, и за совершенные им грехи он умрет.

²⁵ А вы говорите: «Путь Владыки несправедлив». Слушайте, дом Израиля: это Мой-то путь несправедлив? Не ваши ли пути несправедливы? ²⁶ Если праведник оставит праведность и совершит преступление, то за это он умрет; за сделанное им преступление он умрет. ²⁷ А если злодей оставит злодеяния, которые творит, и примется делать то, что справедливо и праведно, он спасет себе жизнь. ²⁸ За то, что, признав все преступления, которые он творил, он больше не будет делать зло, он, несомненно, будет жить; он не умрет. ²⁹ А дом Израиля говорит: «Путь Владыки несправедлив». Мои ли пути несправедливы, дом Израиля? Не ваши ли?
³⁰ Поэтому, дом Израиля, Я буду судить вас, каждого по его делам, – возвещает Владыка Господь. – Покайтесь! Оставьте свои преступления, чтобы грех не погубил вас. ³¹ Отвергните преступления, которые вы совершили, и обретите новое сердце и новый дух. Зачем вам умирать, дом Израиля? ³² Ничья смерть Мне не угодна, – возвещает Владыка Господь. – Покайтесь и живите!

Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

² I beseech Euodias and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.

³ And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women who laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also and with my other fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say, Rejoice.

⁵ Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is near.

⁶ Be anxious for nothing, but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God.

⁷ And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

⁸ Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, exercise yourselves in these things.

⁹ Those things, which ye have both learned and received and heard and seen in me, do, and the God of peace shall be with you.

Итак, любимые и желанные мои братья, вы моя радость и мой венец, стойте твердо в Господе, любимые.

Наставления

² Я умоляю Эводию и Синтихию прийти к согласию в Господе. ³ Я умоляю и тебя, мой верный соратник^[a], помоги этим женщинам примириться, ведь они трудились ради Радостной Вести вместе со мной, Клементом и другими моими сотрудниками, чьи имена записаны в книге жизни^[b].
⁴ Всегда радуйтесь в Господе, и я еще раз говорю: радуйтесь! ⁵ Пусть ваша кротость будет известна всем людям. Господь близко. ⁶ Не заботьтесь ни о чем, но во всем, через молитву и прошение, с благодарностью открывайте ваши просьбы Богу. ⁷ Тогда мир Божий, превосходящий всякое понимание, сохранит ваши сердца и умы в единении со Христом Иисусом.
⁸ И наконец, братья, размышляйте о том, что истинно, благородно, справедливо, чисто, что приятно и восхитительно, о том, в чем есть добродетель, и о том, что достойно похвалы, – пусть это занимает ваши мысли. ⁹ Все, чему вы от меня научились, что получили от меня, что вы слышали или что вы видели во мне, – все это исполняйте. И Бог, источник мира, будет с вами.

 I pray for them; I do not pray for the world, but for those whom thou hast given me; for they are thine.

¹⁰ And all my things are thine, and thine are mine; and I have been clarified in them.

¹¹ ¶ And now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, those whom thou hast given me, keep them in thy name, that they may be one, as we are.

¹² While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name; those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition, that the scripture might be fulfilled.

¹³ And now I come to thee; and these things I speak in the world that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

¹⁴ I have given them thy word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

¹⁵ I do not pray that thou should take them out of the world, but that thou should keep them from the evil.

¹⁶ They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

¹⁷ ¶ Sanctify them in thy truth; thy word is the truth.

¹⁸ As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

¹⁹ And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified in the truth.

Я молюсь о них. Молюсь не обо всем мире, но о тех, кого Ты дал Мне, потому что они принадлежат Тебе, ¹⁰ так как все, что Я имею, принадлежит Тебе, и все Твое принадлежит Мне. В них Я был прославлен. ¹¹ Я уже больше не в мире, но они в мире, а Я иду к Тебе. Святой Отец, сохрани их во Имя Твое – Имя, которое Ты дал Мне, – чтобы они были одно, как и Мы с Тобой одно. ¹² Пока Я был с ними, Я Сам хранил их во Имя Твое, которое Ты дал Мне. Я охранял их, и никто из них не погиб, кроме осужденного на погибель^[a], чтобы исполнилось Писание. ¹³ Сейчас Я возвращаюсь к Тебе, но пока Я еще в мире, Я говорю это, чтобы они познали Мою радость сполна.
¹⁴ Я дал им слово Твое, и мир ненавидит их, потому что они не от мира, как и Я не от этого мира. ¹⁵ Я молюсь не о том, чтобы Ты взял их из мира, но чтобы Ты сохранил их от зла^[b]. ¹⁶ Ведь они не принадлежат миру, как и Я не принадлежу ему. ¹⁷ Освяти их Твоей истиной: Твое слово есть истина. ¹⁸ Как Ты послал Меня в мир, так и Я посылаю их в мир. ¹⁹ Я Тебе посвящаю Себя ради них, чтобы и они истиной были освящены.
