Psalm 70 – The Amplified Bible
To the Chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David, to bring to remembrance or make memorial.
1 Make
haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O Lord!
2 Let them
be put to shame and confounded that seek and demand my life; let
them be turned backward and brought to confusion and dishonor who desire
and delight in my hurt.
3 Let them
be turned back and appalled because of their shame and disgrace
who say, Aha, aha!
4 May all
those who seek, inquire of and for You, and require You [as their
vital need] rejoice and be glad in You; and may those who love Your salvation
say continually, Let God be magnified!
5 But I am
poor and needy; hasten to me, O God! You are my Help and my Deliverer; O Lord,
do not tarry!

Psalm 71 – The Amplified Bible
In You,
O Lord, do I put my trust and confidently take refuge; let me never be
put to shame or confusion!
2 Deliver
me in Your righteousness and cause me to escape; bow down Your ear to me and
save me!
3 Be to me
a rock of refuge in which to dwell, and a sheltering stronghold to which
I may continually resort, which You have appointed to save me, for You are my
Rock and my Fortress.
4 Rescue
me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the grasp of the
unrighteous and ruthless man.
5 For You
are my hope; O Lord God, You are my trust from my youth and the source
of my confidence.
6 Upon You
have I leaned and relied from birth; You are He Who took me from my
mother’s womb and You have been my benefactor from that day. My praise
is continually of You.
7 I am as
a wonder and surprise to many, but You are my strong refuge.
8 My mouth
shall be filled with Your praise and with Your honor all the day.
9 Cast me
not off nor send me away in the time of old age; forsake me not when my
strength is spent and my powers fail.
10 For my
enemies talk against me; those who watch for my life consult together,
11 Saying,
God has forsaken him; pursue and persecute and take him, for there is
none to deliver him.
12 O God,
be not far from me! O my God, make haste to help me!
13 Let them
be put to shame and consumed who are adversaries to my life; let them be
covered with reproach, scorn, and dishonor who seek and require
my hurt.
14 But I
will hope continually, and will praise You yet more and more.
15 My mouth
shall tell of Your righteous acts and of Your deeds of salvation all the
day, for their number is more than I know.
16 I will
come in the strength and with the mighty acts of the Lord God; I will
mention and praise Your righteousness, even Yours alone.
17 O God,
You have taught me from my youth, and hitherto have I declared Your wondrous
works.
18 Yes,
even when I am old and gray-headed, O God, forsake me not, [but keep me alive]
until I have declared Your mighty strength to [this] generation, and Your might
and power to all that are to come.
19 Your
righteousness also, O God, is very high [reaching to the heavens], You Who have
done great things; O God, who is like You, or who is Your equal?
20 You Who
have shown us [all] troubles great and sore will quicken us again and will
bring us up again from the depths of the earth.
21 Increase
my greatness (my honor) and turn and comfort me.
22 I will
also praise You with the harp, even Your truth and faithfulness, O my God; unto
You will I sing praises with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel.
23 My lips
shall shout for joy when I sing praises to You, and my inner being, which You
have redeemed.
24 My
tongue also shall talk of Your righteousness all the day long; for they are put
to shame, for they are confounded, who seek and demand my hurt.

7 (70-7) Для многих я был как бы дивом, но Ты твердая моя
надежда.

всякий день великолепие Твое.
9 (70-9) Не отвергни меня во время старости; когда будет
оскудевать сила моя, не оставь меня,

14 (70-14) А я всегда буду уповать [на Тебя] и умножать всякую
хвалу Тебе.

благодеяния Твои; ибо я не знаю им числа.
16 (70-16) Войду в [размышление] о силах Господа Бога;
воспомяну правду Твою--единственно Твою.
17 (70-17) Боже! Ты наставлял меня от юности моей, и доныне
я возвещаю чудеса Твои.
18 (70-18) И до старости, и до седины не оставь меня, Боже,
доколе не возвещу силы Твоей роду сему и всем грядущим могущества Твоего.
19 (70-19) Правда Твоя, Боже, до превыспренних; великие дела
соделал Ты; Боже, кто подобен Тебе?
20 (70-20) Ты посылал на меня многие и лютые беды, но и
опять оживлял меня и из бездн земли опять выводил меня.
21 (70-21) Ты возвышал меня и утешал меня.
22 (70-22) И я буду славить Тебя на псалтири, Твою истину,
Боже мой; буду воспевать Тебя на гуслях, Святый Израилев!

Evening
Psalm 74 – The Amplified Bible
A skillful song, or a didactic or reflective poem, of Asaph.
1 O God,
why do You cast us off forever? Why does Your anger burn and smoke
against the sheep of Your pasture?
2 [Earnestly]
remember Your congregation which You have acquired of old, which You have
redeemed to be the tribe of Your heritage; remember Mount Zion, where You have
dwelt.
3 Direct
Your feet [quickly] to the perpetual ruins and desolations; the foe has
devastated and desecrated everything in the sanctuary.
4 In the
midst of Your Holy Place Your enemies have roared [with their battle cry]; they
set up their own [idol] emblems for signs [of victory].
5 They
seemed like men who lifted up axes upon a thicket of trees to make themselves a
record.
6 And then
all the carved wood of the Holy Place they broke down with hatchets and
hammers.
7 They
have set Your sanctuary on fire; they have profaned the dwelling place of Your [a]Name by casting it to the
ground.
8 They
said in their hearts, Let us make havoc [of such places] altogether. They have
burned up all God’s meetinghouses in the land.
9 We do
not see our symbols; there is no longer any prophet, neither does any among us
know for how long.
10 O God,
how long is the adversary to scoff and reproach? Is the enemy to
blaspheme and revile Your name forever?
11 Why do
You hold back Your hand, even Your right hand? Draw it out of Your bosom and
consume them [make an end of them]!
12 Yet God
is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
13 You did
divide the [Red] Sea by Your might; You broke the heads of the [Egyptian]
dragons in the waters.
14 You
crushed the heads of Leviathan (Egypt); You did give him as food for the
creatures inhabiting the wilderness.
15 You did
cleave open [the rock bringing forth] fountains and streams; You dried up
mighty, ever-flowing rivers (the Jordan).
16 The day
is Yours, the night also is Yours; You have established the [starry] light and
the sun.
17 You have
fixed all the borders of the earth [the divisions of land and sea and of the
nations]; You have made summer and winter.
18 [Earnestly]
remember how the enemy has scoffed, O Lord, and reproached You, and how
a foolish and impious people has blasphemed Your name.
19 Oh, do
not deliver the life of your turtledove to the wild beast (to the greedy
multitude); forget not the life [of the multitude] of Your poor forever.
20 Have
regard for the covenant [You made with Abraham], for the dark places of the
land are full of the habitations of violence.
21 Oh, let
not the downtrodden return in shame; let the oppressed and needy praise Your
name.
22 Arise, O
God, plead Your own cause; remember [earnestly] how the foolish and
impious man scoffs and reproaches You day after day and all day
long.
23 Do not
forget the [clamoring] voices of Your adversaries, the tumult of those who rise
up against You, which ascends continually.

Рыкают враги Твои среди собраний Твоих; поставили знаки свои вместо знамений

Genesis 42:29-48 – The Amplified Bible
When
they came to Jacob their father in Canaan, they told him all that had befallen
them, saying,
30 The man who is the lord of
the land spoke roughly to us and took us for spies of the country.
31 And we said to him, We are
true men, not spies.
32 We are twelve brothers with
the same father; one is no more, and the youngest is today with our father in
the land of Canaan.
33 And the man, the lord of
the country, said to us, By this test I will know whether or not you are honest
men: leave one of your brothers here with me and take grain for your famishing
households and be gone.
34 Bring your youngest brother
to me; then I will know that you are not spies, but that you are honest men.
And I will deliver to you your brother [whom I have kept bound in prison], and
you may do business in the land.
35 When they emptied their
sacks, behold, every man’s parcel of money was in his sack! When both they and
their father saw the bundles of money, they were afraid.
36 And Jacob their father said
to them, You have bereaved me! Joseph is not, and Simeon is not, and you would
take Benjamin from me. All these things are against me!
37 And Reuben said to his
father, Slay my two sons if I do not bring [Benjamin] back to you. Deliver him
into my keeping, and I will bring him back to you.
38 But [Jacob] said, My son
shall not go down with you, for his brother is dead and he alone is left [of
his mother’s children]; if harm or accident should befall him on the
journey you are to take, you would bring my hoary head down to Sheol (the place
of the dead) with grief.

Epistle
1 Corinthians 6:12-30 – The Amplified Bible
Everything is permissible (allowable and
lawful) for me; but not all things are helpful (good for me to do, expedient
and profitable when considered with other things). Everything is lawful for me,
but I will not become the slave of anything or be brought under its
power.
13 Food [is
intended] for the stomach and the stomach for food, but God will finally end
[the functions of] both and bring them to nothing. The body is not
intended for sexual immorality, but [is intended] for the Lord, and the Lord
[is intended] for the body [[a]to save, sanctify, and
raise it again].
14 And God
both raised the Lord to life and will also raise us up by His power.
15 Do you
not see and know that your bodies are members (bodily parts) of Christ
(the Messiah)? Am I therefore to take the parts of Christ and make [them] parts
of a prostitute? Never! Never!
16 Or do
you not know and realize that when a man joins himself to a prostitute,
he becomes one body with her? The two, it is written, shall become one flesh.
17 But the
person who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him.
18 Shun
immorality and all sexual looseness [flee from impurity in thought,
word, or deed]. Any other sin which a man commits is one outside the body, but
he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
19 Do you
not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit
Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God? You are not
your own,
20 You were
bought with a price [purchased with a [b]preciousness and paid for,
[c]made His own]. So then,
honor God and bring glory to Him in your body.

Так как же я могу взять то, что принадлежит Христу, и отдать блуднице? Не бывать тому! 16 Неужели вы не знаете, что тот, кто соединяется с блудницей, становится с ней одним телом? Ведь написано: «Двое станут одной плотью»[a]. 17 Тот же, кто соединяется с Господом, является одним духом с Ним[b].18 Бегите от разврата. Mark 4:21-34 – The Amplified Bible
And He said to them, Is the lamp brought in
to be put under a [a]peck measure or under a
bed, and not [to be put] on the lampstand?
22 [[b]Things are hidden
temporarily only as a means to revelation.] For there is nothing hidden except
to be revealed, nor is anything [temporarily] kept secret except in order that
it may be made known.
23 If any man has ears to hear, let him be listening and let him
perceive and comprehend.
24 And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [c][of thought and study] you
give [to [d]the truth you hear] will
be the measure [e][of virtue and knowledge]
that comes back to you—and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.
25 For to him who has will more be given; and from him who has nothing,
even what he has will be taken away [[f]by force],
26 And He said, The kingdom of God is like a man who scatters seed upon the
ground,
27 And then continues sleeping and rising night and day while the seed
sprouts and grows and [g]increases—he knows not how.
28 The earth produces [acting] by itself—first the blade, then the ear,
then the full grain in the ear.
29 But when the grain is ripe and permits, immediately he [h]sends forth [the reapers] and
puts in the sickle, because the harvest stands ready.
30 And He said, With what can we compare the kingdom of God, or what
parable shall we use to illustrate and explain it?
31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when sown upon the ground, is
the smallest of all seeds upon the earth;
32 Yet after it is sown, it grows up and becomes the greatest of all garden
herbs and puts out large branches, so that the birds of the air are able to
make nests and dwell in its shade.
33 With many such parables [Jesus] spoke the Word to them, as they were
able to hear and [i]to comprehend and
understand.
34 He did not tell them anything without a parable; but privately to His
disciples ([j]those who were peculiarly
His own) He explained everything [fully].

Притча о засеянном поле
26 Еще Он сказал:– Божье Царство похоже на то, как если бы человек засеял поле. 27 Проходят дни и ночи, человек то спит, то бодрствует, а семена всходят и растут, он и сам не знает как, 28 ведь земля сама дает плод. Сначала появляется росток, затем колос, колос наливается зерном, 29 и когда созреет урожай, человек приходит с серпом, потому что наступила жатва[a].
Притча о горчичном зерне
(Мат. 13:31-32; Лк. 13:18-19)
30 Иисус продолжал:– С чем можно сравнить Божье Царство? В какой притче можно описать его? 31 Оно как горчичное зерно. Когда его сеют в землю, оно самое меньшее из всех семян, 32 но когда вырастает, то становится больше всех огородных растений и раскидывает такие большие ветви, что птицы небесные могут вить гнезда в их тени[b].
33 Иисус рассказывал им много подобных притч. Он не говорил им больше того, что они были в силах воспринять. 34 Без притч Иисус вообще не учил, но когда Он оставался наедине со Своими учениками, Он все им объяснял.
