Psalm
119:1-24
ALEPH. Blessed are
the perfect in the way, who walk in the law of Jehovah.
2 Blessed are they that
observe his testimonies, that seek him with the whole heart;
3 Who also do no
unrighteousness: they walk in his ways.
4 Thou hast enjoined
thy precepts, to be kept diligently.
5 Oh that my ways were
directed to keep thy statutes!
6 Then shall I not be
ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
7 I will give thee
thanks with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous
judgments.
8 I will keep thy
statutes: forsake me not utterly.
9 BETH. Wherewithal
shall a young man cleanse his path? by taking heed according to thy word.
10 With my whole heart
have I sought thee: let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 Thy word have I hid
in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.
12 Blessed art thou,
Jehovah! teach me thy statutes.
13 With my lips have I
declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
14 I have rejoiced in
the way of thy testimonies, as [much as] in all wealth.
15 I will meditate upon
thy precepts, and have respect unto thy paths.
16 I delight myself in
thy statutes; I will not forget thy word.
17 GIMEL. Deal
bountifully with thy servant [and] I shall live; and I will keep thy word.
18 Open mine eyes, and I
shall behold wondrous things out of thy law.
19 I am a stranger in
the land; hide not thy commandments from me.
20 My soul breaketh for
longing after thy judgments at all times.
21 Thou hast rebuked the
proud [that are] cursed, who wander from thy commandments.
22 Roll off from me
reproach and contempt; for I observe thy testimonies.
23 Princes also did sit
[and] talk together against me: thy servant doth meditate in thy statutes.
24 Thy testimonies also
are my delight [and] my counsellors.

7 (118-7) я славил бы Тебя в правоте сердца, поучаясь судам правды Твоей.
8 (118-8) Буду хранить уставы Твои; не оставляй меня совсем.
9 (118-9) Как юноше содержать в чистоте путь свой? --Хранением себя по слову
Твоему.
10 (118-10) Всем сердцем моим ищу Тебя; не дай мне уклониться от заповедей
Твоих.

12 (118-12) Благословен Ты, Господи! научи меня уставам Твоим.

18 (118-18) Открой очи мои, и увижу чудеса закона Твоего.
19 (118-19) Странник я на земле; не скрывай от меня заповедей Твоих.
20 (118-20) Истомилась душа моя желанием судов Твоих во всякое время.
21 (118-21) Ты укротил гордых, проклятых, уклоняющихся от заповедей Твоих.
22 (118-22) Сними с меня поношение и посрамление, ибо я храню откровения Твои.
23 (118-23) Князья сидят и сговариваются против меня, а раб Твой размышляет об
уставах Твоих.
24 (118-24) Откровения Твои--утешение мое, --советники мои.

12
To
the chief Musician. Upon Sheminith. A Psalm of David.
Save, Jehovah, for the godly man is
gone; for the faithful have failed from among the children of men.
2 They speak falsehood every one with his neighbour: [with]
flattering lip, with a double heart, do they speak.
3 Jehovah will cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that
speaketh proud things,
4 Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail, our lips are
our own: who [is] lord over us?
5 Because of the oppression of the afflicted, because of the
sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith Jehovah, I will set [him] in
safety, at whom they puff.
6 The words of Jehovah are pure words, silver tried in the
furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou, Jehovah, wilt keep them, thou wilt preserve them from
this generation for ever.
8 The wicked walk about on every side, when vileness is
exalted among the children of men.

2 (11-3) Ложь говорит каждый своему ближнему; уста льстивы, говорят от сердца

3 (11-4) Истребит Господь все уста льстивые, язык велеречивый,
4 (11-5) [тех], которые говорят: 'языком нашим пересилим, уста наши с нами;
кто нам господин'?
5 (11-6) Ради страдания нищих и воздыхания бедных ныне восстану, говорит
Господь, поставлю в безопасности того, кого уловить хотят.
6 (11-7) Слова Господни--слова чистые, серебро, очищенное от земли в горниле,
семь раз переплавленное.
7 (11-8) Ты, Господи, сохранишь их, соблюдешь от рода сего вовек.
8 (11-9) Повсюду ходят нечестивые, когда ничтожные из сынов человеческих
возвысились.

13
To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.
13 How long, Jehovah,
wilt thou forget me for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
2 How long shall I take
counsel in my soul, with sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be
exalted over me?
3 Consider, answer me,
O Jehovah my God! lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the [sleep of] death;
4 Lest mine enemy say,
I have prevailed against him! [lest] mine adversaries be joyful when I am moved.
5 As for me, I have
confided in thy loving-kindness; my heart shall be joyful in thy salvation.
6 I will sing unto
Jehovah, for he hath dealt bountifully with me.

Господи, будешь забывать меня вконец, доколе будешь скрывать лице Твое от меня?
2 (12-3) Доколе мне слагать советы в душе моей, скорбь в сердце моем день [и
ночь]? Доколе врагу моему возноситься надо мною?
3 (12-4) Призри, услышь меня, Господи Боже мой! Просвети очи мои, да не усну
я [сном] смертным;
4 (12-5) да не скажет враг мой: 'я одолел его'. Да не возрадуются гонители
мои, если я поколеблюсь.
5 (12-6) Я же уповаю на милость Твою; сердце мое возрадуется о спасении Твоем;
6 (12-6) воспою Господу, облагодетельствовавшему меня.
Psalm 14
To the chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David.
14 The fool hath said in
his heart, There is no God. They have corrupted themselves, they have done
abominable works: there is none that doeth good.
2 Jehovah looked down
from the heavens upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did
understand, that did seek God.
3 They have all gone
aside, they are together become corrupt: there is none that doeth good, not
even one.
4 Have all the workers
of iniquity no knowledge, eating up my people [as] they eat bread? They call
not upon Jehovah.
5 There were they in
great fear; for God is in the generation of the righteous.
6 Ye have shamed the
counsel of the afflicted, because Jehovah [was] his refuge.
7 Oh that the salvation
of Israel were come out of Zion! When Jehovah turneth again the captivity of
his people, Jacob shall be glad, Israel shall rejoice.

3 (13-3) Все уклонились, сделались равно непотребными; нет делающего добро,
нет ни одного.
4 (13-4) Неужели не вразумятся все, делающие беззаконие, съедающие народ мой,
[как] едят хлеб, и не призывающие Господа?
5 (13-5) Там убоятся они страха, ибо Бог в роде праведных.
6 (13-6) Вы посмеялись над мыслью нищего, что Господь упование его.

Amos
3:12- 4:5
Thus
saith Jehovah: Like as the shepherd rescueth out of the jaw of the lion two
legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be rescued that sit
in Samaria in the corner of a couch, and upon the damask of a bed.
13 Hear ye, and testify
in the house of Jacob, saith the Lord Jehovah, the God of hosts,
14 that in the day that
I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him, I will also punish the
altars of Bethel; and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the
ground.
15 And I will smite the
winter-house with the summer-house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and
many houses shall have an end, saith Jehovah.
4 Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan,
that are in the mountain of Samaria, that oppress the poor, that crush the
needy, that say to their lords, Bring, and let us drink:
2 the Lord Jehovah hath
sworn by his holiness, that behold, days shall come upon you, when he will take
you away with hooks, and your posterity with fish-hooks;
3 and ye shall go out
by the breaches, every one straight before her, and ye shall be cast out to
Harmon, saith Jehovah.
4 Come to Bethel, and
transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices in the
morning, your tithes every three days,
5 and burn a
thank-offering with leaven, and proclaim, publish, voluntary offerings: for
this pleaseth you, children of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah.

Так говорит Господь: как [иногда] пастух исторгает из
пасти львиной две голени или часть уха, так спасены будут сыны Израилевы,
сидящие в Самарии в углу постели и в Дамаске на ложе.
13 Слушайте и засвидетельствуйте дому Иакова, говорит Господь Бог, Бог Саваоф.
14 Ибо в тот день, когда Я взыщу с Израиля за преступления его, взыщу и за
жертвенники в Вефиле, и отсечены будут роги алтаря, и падут на землю.
15 И поражу дом зимний вместе с домом летним, и исчезнут домы с украшениями из
слоновой кости, и не станет многих домов, говорит Господь.
4 Слушайте слово сие, телицы Васанские, которые на горе Самарийской, вы,
притесняющие бедных, угнетающие нищих, говорящие господам своим: 'подавай, и мы
будем пить!'
2 Клялся Господь Бог святостью Своею, что вот, придут на вас дни, когда
повлекут вас крюками и остальных ваших удами.
3 И сквозь проломы стен выйдете, каждая, как случится, и бросите все
убранство чертогов, говорит Господь.
4 Идите в Вефиль--и грешите, в Галгал--и умножайте преступления; приносите
жертвы ваши каждое утро, десятины ваши хотя через каждые три дня.
5 Приносите в жертву благодарения квасное, провозглашайте о добровольных
приношениях ваших и разглашайте о них, ибо это вы любите, сыны Израилевы,
говорит Господь Бог.
Epistle
2
Peter 3:1-10
This,
a second letter, beloved, I already write to you, in [both] which I stir up, in
the way of putting you in remembrance, your pure mind,
2 to be mindful of the
words spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of the Lord
and Saviour by your apostles;
3 knowing this first,
that there shall come at [the] close of the days mockers with mocking, walking
according to their own lusts,
4 and saying, Where is
the promise of his coming? for from the time the fathers fell asleep all things
remain thus from [the] beginning of [the] creation.
5 For this is hidden
from them through their own wilfulness, that heavens were of old, and an earth,
having its subsistence out of water and in water, by the word of God,
6 through which
[waters] the then world, deluged with water, perished.
7 But the present
heavens and the earth by his word are laid up in store, kept for fire unto a
day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
8 But let not this one
thing be hidden from you, beloved, that one day with [the] Lord [is] as a
thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 [The] Lord does not
delay his promise, as some account of delay, but is longsuffering towards you,
not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of [the]
Lord will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a rushing
noise, and [the] elements, burning with heat, shall be dissolved, and [the]
earth and the works in it shall be burnt up.

3 Это, возлюбленные, уже мое второе письмо к вам. Я написал эти письма для
того, чтобы напоминанием призвать вас рассуждать здраво, 2 чтобы вы помнили слова, сказанные в прошлом святыми пророками, и повеление
Господа и Спасителя, переданное вашими апостолами.
3 Прежде всего вы должны помнить о том, что в последнее время появятся наглые
насмешники, идущие на поводу своих низменных желаний 4 и говорящие: «Так как же насчет обещания Его прихода? Ведь с тех пор, как
умерли отцы, все остается так, как было от начала творения». 5 Но они сознательно пренебрегают тем, что некогда вселенная[a] была создана
словом Божьим, что воды были собраны и появилась суша, 6 а также тем, что посредством воды был разрушен прежний мир, будучи
затоплен. 7 А нынешние небеса и земля тем же словом Бога сберегаются для огня, они
сохраняются до Дня Суда и гибели безбожных людей.8 Не забывайте одного, возлюбленные: для Господа один день – что тысяча лет и тысяча лет – что один день[b]. 9 Господь не откладывает исполнения того, что Он обещал, хоть некоторые и называют это промедлением. Он очень терпелив к вам, не желая, чтобы кто-нибудь погиб, но чтобы все покаялись.
10 День Господа придет, словно вор. Тогда небосвод[c] с громким шумом исчезнет, и небесные тела растворятся в огне, также и земля, и все дела на ней будут обнаружены[d].

21:23-32
And
when he came into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people
came to him [as he was] teaching, saying, By what authority doest thou these
things? and who gave thee this authority?
24 And Jesus answering
said to them, *I* also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, *I* also
will tell you by what authority I do these things:
25 The baptism of John,
whence was it? of heaven or of men? And they reasoned among themselves, saying,
If we should say, Of heaven, he will say to us, Why then have ye not believed
him?
26 but if we should say,
Of men, we fear the crowd, for all hold John for a prophet.
27 And answering Jesus
they said, We do not know. *He* also said to them, Neither do *I* tell you by
what authority I do these things.
28 But what think ye? A
man had two children, and coming to the first he said, Child, go to-day, work
in [my] vineyard.
29 And he answering
said, I will not; but afterwards repenting himself he went.
30 And coming to the
second he said likewise; and he answering said, *I* [go], sir, and went not.
31 Which of the two did
the will of the father? They say [to him], The first. Jesus says to them,
Verily I say unto you that the tax-gatherers and the harlots go into the
kingdom of God before you.
32 For John came to you
in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not; but the tax-gatherers and
the harlots believed him; but *ye* when ye saw [it] repented not yourselves
afterwards to believe him.

23 Когда Иисус вошел в храм и стал учить народ, к Нему подошли священники и старейшины народа с вопросом:– Чьей властью Ты все это делаешь, и кто дал Тебе эту власть?
24 Иисус ответил им:
– Я тоже задам вам вопрос, и если вы Мне ответите, то и Я скажу вам, чьей властью Я это делаю. 25 Крещение Иоанна было с небес или от людей?
Они стали рассуждать между собой:
– Если мы скажем: «С небес», то Он спросит: «Так почему же вы ему не поверили?». 26 Сказать «От людей» нельзя – боимся народа, ведь все считают, что Иоанн был пророком.
27 – Мы не знаем, – ответили они.
Иисус сказал им:
– Тогда и Я вам не скажу, чьей властью Я это делаю.
Притча о двух сыновьях
28 Что вы скажете на такое: у одного человека было два сына. Как-то он подошел к одному из них и говорит: «Сын, пойди поработай сегодня в винограднике». 29 «Не хочу», – ответил сын, но потом передумал и все же пошел. 30 Подойдя и к другому сыну, отец попросил его о том же. Сын ответил: «Иду, господин», – а сам не пошел. 31 Кто из них исполнил волю отца?– Первый, – ответили они.
Иисус тогда сказал им:
– Говорю вам истину: сборщики налогов и блудницы впереди вас идут в Царство Божье. 32 Ведь Иоанн пришел к вам показать путь праведности, и вы не поверили ему, а они поверили. Вы же, даже после того, как это увидели, не раскаялись и не поверили.
