Psalm 102 – New Living Translation
A
prayer of one overwhelmed with trouble, pouring out problems before the Lord.
1 Lord, hear my prayer!
Listen to my plea!
2 Don’t turn away from me
in my time of distress.
Bend down to listen,
and answer me quickly when I call to you.
3 For my days disappear like smoke,
and my bones burn like red-hot coals.
4 My heart is sick, withered like grass,
and I have lost my appetite.
5 Because of my groaning,
I am reduced to skin and bones.
6 I am like an owl in the desert,
like a little owl in a far-off wilderness.
7 I lie awake,
lonely as a solitary bird on the roof.
8 My enemies taunt me day after day.
They mock and curse me.
9 I eat ashes for food.
My tears run down into my drink
10 because of your anger and wrath.
For you have picked me up and thrown me out.
11 My life passes as swiftly as the evening shadows.
I am withering away like grass.

The kings of the earth will tremble before his glory.
16 For the Lord will rebuild Jerusalem.
He will appear in his glory.
17 He will listen to the prayers of the destitute.
He will not reject their pleas.
Your fame will endure to every generation.
13 You will arise and have mercy on Jerusalem[a]—
and now is the time to pity her,
now is the time you promised to help.
14 For your people love every stone in her walls
and cherish even the dust in her streets.
15 Then the nations will tremble before the Lord.

his praises in Jerusalem,

and kingdoms come to worship the Lord.

midlife,
cutting short my days.
24 But I cried to him, “O my God, who lives forever,
don’t take my life while I am so young!
25 Long ago you laid the foundation of the earth
and made the heavens with your hands.
26 They will perish, but you remain forever;
they will wear out like old clothing.
You will change them like a garment
and discard them.
27 But you are always the same;
you will live forever.
28 The children of your people
will live in security.
Their children’s children
will thrive in your presence.”

1 I cry
out to the Lord;
I plead for the Lord’s mercy.
2 I pour out my complaints before him
and tell him all my troubles. 3 When I am overwhelmed,
you alone know the way I should turn. Wherever I go,
my enemies have set traps for me. 4 I look for someone to come and help me,
but no one gives me a passing thought! No one will help me;
no one cares a bit what happens to me. 5 Then I pray to you, O Lord.
I say, “You are my place of refuge.
You are all I really want in life. 6 Hear my cry,
for I am very low. Rescue me from my persecutors,
for they are too strong for me. 7 Bring me out of prison
so I can thank you. The godly will crowd around me,
for you are good to me.”
I plead for the Lord’s mercy.

12 On
the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover lamb is
sacrificed, Jesus’ disciples asked him, “Where do you want us to go to prepare
the Passover meal for you?”
13 So Jesus sent two of them into Jerusalem with these instructions: “As you go into the city, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him. 14 At the house he enters, say to the owner, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room where I can eat the Passover meal with my disciples?’ 15 He will take you upstairs to a large room that is already set up. That is where you should prepare our meal.” 16 So the two disciples went into the city and found everything just as Jesus had said, and they prepared the Passover meal there.
17 In the evening Jesus arrived with the twelve disciples.[a] 18 As they were at the table[b] eating, Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, one of you eating with me here will betray me.”
19 Greatly distressed, each one asked in turn, “Am I the one?”
20 He replied, “It is one of you twelve who is eating from this bowl with me. 21 For the Son of Man[c] must die, as the Scriptures declared long ago. But how terrible it will be for the one who betrays him. It would be far better for that man if he had never been born!”
22 As they were eating, Jesus took some bread and blessed it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “Take it, for this is my body.”
23 And he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. 24 And he said to them, “This is my blood, which confirms the covenant[d] between God and his people. It is poured out as a sacrifice for many. 25 I tell you the truth, I will not drink wine again until the day I drink it new in the Kingdom of God.”

17 Вечером Иисус пришел туда с двенадцатью. 18 Когда они возлежали и ели, Иисус сказал:– Говорю вам истину: один из вас, кто сейчас ест со Мной, предаст Меня.
19 Учеников это сильно опечалило, и один за другим они стали спрашивать Его:
– Не я ли?
20 – Один из двенадцати, – ответил Иисус, – тот, кто вместе со Мной обмакивает хлеб в блюдо. 21 Хотя Сын Человеческий уходит так, как о Нем сказано в Писании, но горе тому человеку, который предает Сына Человеческого! Лучше бы не родиться вообще тому человеку.
22 Когда они ели, Иисус взял хлеб и, благословив, разломил его, дал им и сказал:
– Возьмите, это Мое тело.
23 Затем Он взял чашу, поблагодарил за нее и подал им, и они все пили из нее.
24 – Это Моя кровь завета[a], проливаемая за многих, – сказал Иисус. 25 – Говорю вам истину: Я уже не буду пить от плода виноградного до того дня, когда Я буду пить новое[b] вино в Божьем Царстве.
