Welcome Lily Jane Brown!
| It's with great joy that I share this with you. Here is the first photo of my son Tom's new daughter, Lily Jane Brown, with her Mom, Lisa. She joins her big brothers Trevor and Drew, her big sister, Lexi, and her baby brother, Colin. She was born on January 10, 2011 in southern California. Can't wait to see her, but I am way across the Pacific Ocean in Vladivostok. Russia, as you know. It was 23 degrees below zero Fahrenheit here yesterday, but warmed up to 2 below today. *grin* Today is the Lunar New Year, which all of Asia celebrates, it seems -- even the Russian Far East, here on the coast of Siberia. This weekend will bring the end of the New Year holidays, and Russian Christmas was celebrated last Friday, so there have been weeks of holidays for me both this side of the world and back in the USA! To top it off, I was so happy to hear about Lily's safe arrival and that she and Lisa are both doing well. They got home yesterday and we thank God for all our blessings. I'm heading downtown for a celebration dinner tonight with a friend. Will be fun -- and the only challenge is to keep warm. |
